The boys had their first trip to Switzerland and France in May 2018. That's two new countries to add to their expanding list.

Okay, what are we doing here? We don't even go to church at home.
Château de Chillon
The boys did a day trip from Geneva to Château de Chillon at the other end of Lake Geneva. Here they are changing trains in Montreux.

Taking a break in what used to be a jail cell in the castle.
Zurich
limmat
The boys did another day trip from Geneva, flying to Zurich in the morning and back to Geneva in the evening. The first order of business was a stroll along the scenic Limmat River.
The Limmat River feeds into Lake Zurich where the boys embarked on an afternoon boat cruise.

October 2018
The boys made a quick overnight visit to Zurich in October 2018 on their way home from Portugal.
The weather was a little chillier in Zurich than it had been in Lisbon, but that didn't stop the boys from having dinner and a bottle of wine at an outdoor patio.
Dinner was followed with a nighttime stroll along the scenic Limmat River.
Then they headed back to Zurich Hauptbahnhof to catch the train back to their airport hotel.
Flying home in business class always makes the end of a vacation much less painful.
